Amanda AI, Blue-Ear to Unveil Collaborative Security Model at Lagos Event

Story By David Mba

Africa’s leading robotics innovator, Amanda AI Technologies, has announced an upcoming security technology showcase that will formally unveil its strategic
partnership with Blue-Ear Security, marking a major shift toward what both firms describe as “Collaborative Security”, the integration of human intelligence with robotic precision.

The two-day event, scheduled to hold in Lagos from February 13 to 14, 2026, will introduce a new generation of AI-powered security solutions designed to deliver what Amanda AI terms “peace of mind as a service.”

Industry stakeholders, security professionals, policymakers and technology leaders are expected to attend.

According to the organisers, the partnership combines Amanda AI’s autonomous robotic platforms with Blue-Ear Security’s trained human operatives, creating a hybrid response system aimed at improving surveillance accuracy, reducing human risk and significantly shortening emergency response times.

Preliminary deployment data indicates that the human–robot collaboration could cut response times to security incidents by as much as 40 per cent within the first year, a development experts say could redefine private and industrial security operations across Nigeria and beyond.

Speaking ahead of the event, Co -Founders of Amanda AI Technologies said the collaboration reflects the company’s long-standing commitment to building AI solutions tailored to Africa’s unique security and infrastructure challenges.

Amanda AI Technologies is widely recognised for pioneering the Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) model on the continent, a subscription-based approach that lowers entry barriers to advanced automation. Its solutions span security, surveillance and industrial efficiency, with a focus on scalability and local relevance.

Blue-Ear Security brings years of professional security experience to the partnership and is known for its emphasis on discipline, training and operational excellence. The collaboration underscores the firm’s drive to integrate emerging technologies into modern security operations.

Industry analysts say the Lagos showcase could signal a turning point for security architecture in Africa, as firms increasingly look beyond manpower-heavy models to technology-enabled, intelligence-driven solutions.
