At the esteemed Africa Prosperity Dialogues 2025, held at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra, Ghana, Ethiopian Airlines stressed its unwavering commitment to connecting Africa with the global community. Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Mesfin Tasew, pointed out the airline’s expansive network, now reaching over 65 destinations across the continent, its modernised fleet, and significant investments in state-of-the-art cargo facilities.
During the Presidential Gala Dinner, a highlight of the event, Mr. Tasew reiterated Ethiopian Airlines’ pivotal role in facilitating trade, tourism, and business opportunities throughout Africa. He remarked, “Our mission has always been to connect Africa and facilitate economic growth through seamless air transport.”
In recognition of these efforts, Mr. Tasew was honoured with the “Leadership in Connecting Africa through Transport Award” at the Africa Prosperity Champions Awards. Expressing his gratitude, he stated, “I am deeply honoured to receive this award on behalf of the current and previous visionary leaders of Ethiopian Airlines. It is also a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Ethiopian Airlines team.”
The theme of this year’s dialogues, “Delivering Africa’s Single Market Through Infrastructure: Invest, Connect, and Integrate,” aligns seamlessly with Ethiopian Airlines’ mission.
