Flyzone CEO Steals the Show at Lagos Seaside Platinum All-White Party

By Janefrances Chibuzor

Flyzone Tourism CEO, Ayodeji Awomoyi, was the undisputed star of the Seaside Platinum All-White Party held yesterday at a beachfront venue in Lagos, drawing cheers from hundreds of invited travel consultants as he arrived dressed in all white for the high-profile celebration.

Addressing guests, Awomoyi explained that only 400 partners were invited despite the company’s network of more than 8,000 active consultants nationwide. He said the restriction was due to logistics, noting that no venue could host all consultants at once. He urged attendees to relay the message to colleagues who felt excluded, and he thanked consultants who travelled from Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ife, Ibadan, Owerri and other cities for the event.

Awomoyi highlighted the strong trust the company continues to enjoy, recounting how consultants routinely transferred millions of naira in advance for projects—often leaving the funds with Flyzone for months while applications were processed. He said expressions such as “hold it” and “we are together” had defined years of partnership and were central to the company’s culture of loyalty and confidence.

He recalled Flyzone’s rise as Africa’s leading Dubai visa-processing agency, handling over 100 applications daily at its peak. Airlines, he said, were often astonished that a single travel company could fill an entire aircraft with Dubai-bound travellers. He credited the achievement to the unwavering support of travel consultants.

Awomoyi also issued a strong warning about the surge in travel-related scams. He urged consultants to seek verifiable referrals before dealing with any agency, adding that there is no guaranteed work visa for Canada, Germany, Australia or New Zealand. Any company advertising such offers, he said, is defrauding Nigerians. He called for sustained industry vigilance to protect young people frequently targeted by fraudulent operators.

The Flyzone boss commended his staff for what he described as exceptional discipline, revealing the company’s three-second response policy and 3:00 a.m. resumption time—practices he said give Flyzone its competitive edge. His joking claim that Flyzone staff could outperform Microsoft employees on response time drew laughter. Awomoyi also acknowledged his wife for her patience, noting the strain of receiving client calls at odd hours, sometimes on unrelated matters.

The event delivered the spectacle promised. Musician Oritse Femi thrilled the crowd with an energetic performance, while MC Danfo—real name Ifeanyi Attansey—kept the hall lively with sharp humour. A karaoke session quickly became one of the night’s highlights as consultants, staff and guests took turns at the microphone in performances ranging from impressive to comically off-key.

Guests were treated to a generous display of African cuisine, including smoky jollof rice, pepper soup, suya, grilled fish, swallow and traditional soups, creating a lively seaside culinary atmosphere.

By the end of the night, the Flyzone All-White Party had reinforced the company’s standing not only as a major industry player but as a brand deeply rooted in trust, culture and customer loyalty—with Awomoyi at the centre, commanding the crowd like the industry celebrity he has become.
