In commemoration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the IMOLE DE Agenda has honored the contributions of women and girls who are breaking barriers and making remarkable strides in the scientific world.
Speaking at the event, Sheyi Adeniyi (SA), a representative of IMOLE DE Agenda, emphasized the importance of diversity in driving innovation and knowledge. “Today, we acknowledge the critical role that diversity plays in advancing science. Despite the challenges, women in science continue to inspire future generations,” he stated.
Adeniyi urged stakeholders to commit to promoting gender equality in STEM fields, ensuring equal opportunities, and fostering an inclusive environment where women and girls can thrive. He stressed that empowering female scientists, researchers, and innovators would drive progress toward a more sustainable and equitable future.
