The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has formally petitioned the Attorney-General of the Federation and the Inspector-General of Police to investigate and prosecute Fuji legend, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal — K1 De Ultimate — over an alleged breach of aviation regulations on a ValueJet flight.

The alleged incident happened on Tuesday, 5 August 2025, aboard flight VK201, reportedly disrupting standard airline operations and raising safety concerns.

In addition to the petitions, NCAA’s Director-General, Capt. Chris Najomo, has advised the Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON) to consider placing K1 on a temporary No-Fly List, pending the conclusion of investigations.

“This Authority will not allow anyone, no matter how big their name, to compromise aviation safety. In the skies, everyone is equal,” NCAA spokesman, Michael Achimugu, said in a firm statement.

Full details are still emerging, but insiders say the case could set a precedent for how Nigeria’s aviation sector handles celebrity misconduct in flight.
