The Nigeria Association of Tour Operators captivated audiences at this year’s World Travel Market in London.
NATOP, in collaboration with Lagos State, created an immersive showcase that highlighted Nigeria’s unique cultural heritage and tourism appeal.
The Nigerian stand at WTM was a visual and sensory celebration of the nation’s rich traditions, featuring cultural artifacts, vibrant traditional attire, and visually striking brochures narrating the country’s authentic stories.
Visitors were introduced to Nigerian culinary delights, including orisi, amala with gbegiri, and the renowned Nigerian jollof rice, offering a taste of the country’s diverse and flavorful cuisine.

Representatives from NATOP, dressed in distinctive uniforms, added to the country’s standout presence, proudly embodying Nigerian pride and identity.
Alongside the cultural displays, NATOP presented an array of travel packages designed to showcase Nigeria’s tourist destinations and the beauty of its landscapes.
“We’re proud to represent Nigeria at WTM this year, showcasing our heritage with the respect and passion it deserves,” said NATOP President, Bolaji Mustapha.
He emphasised the significance of the collaboration between NATOP and Lagos State, noting that it underscores a commitment to elevating Nigeria’s tourism sector on the global stage.
“This partnership not only highlights our unique culture but also paves the way for a brighter future for Nigerian tourism,” Mustapha added.
